SASQUATCH ADVERTISING JOINS ORIGINAL S.W.A.T. TEAM

Original S.W.A.T. Footwear of Modesto, CA, has tapped Portland's Sasquatch Advertising to help them with a new branding package.

Included will be national print advertising, catalog design and television production. Original S.W.A.T. Footwear is a five-year old brand that has benefited tremendously form the increased emphasis on homeland security. They are the title sponsors of the Original S.W.A.T. Challenge, a competition of the world's elite S.W.A.T. teams on ESPN.

"Obviously they have the benefit of a name that's ingrained in law enforcement," said Sasquatch co-creative director Greg Eiden. "This account is a natural extension for our agency. Several of our consumer-oriented brands, such as CamelBak hydration and Leatherman tools, had extended their efforts into the law enforcement market. So it's an easy leap for us to pursue more of that type of business."

Sasquatch will begin work with Marketing Director Erin Cabezut immediately. First ads are slated to appear in trade publications in September, and television will run on ESPN beginning in July.

Other Sasquatch Advertising accounts include the US Forest Service, Vancouver's Heathman Lodge, Glacia Nova specialty waters, Warn Industries, Northwest Community Credit Union, Stoel Rives LLP and Eliot Tower.
